Pianist, conductor and composer, he has been described as one of the great hopes in the new generation of musicians. He is regularly invited by prestigious orchestras as soloist and guest conductor. Since 1998 he has been founder member and musical director of the Mont Blanc Symphony Orchestra and since 2005 also founder member and musical director of the Mont Blanc Symphony Orchestra Choir. |

He completes his musical studies in Italy and, wishing to have a more global vision of music, he achieves a first masters in piano (tutor Debora VARESCO), a second in orchestra conductor (tutor Mario LAMBERTO) and a third in composition (tutor Giuseppe ELOS) at the Turin conservatoire of music.
He furthers his piano studies in Italy at the Academy of Pescara with Paolo BORDONI, in Russia at the Rachmaninov Musical Institute with Viktor K. MERZHANOV. Two scholarships enable him to go deeper into pianistic technique at the CIEM-MOZART in Lausanne (Switzerland) with Fausto ZADRA. Precious is the advice from Gyorgy SANDOR and Franco SCALA. In 2000, with Dominique WEBER as tutor, he obtains first prize in "virtuosity" with distinction at the conservatoire of Sion (Switzerland).
Hans Werner HENZE, then Teresa PROCACCINI both encourages him in his studies of composition.
From 1998 to 2002 he studies orchestration at the Geneva Conservatoire of Music (Switzerland) where he qualifies in counterpoint, orchestration and analysis. At the same time he takes conducting classes given by Roberto BENZI and Ernst SHELLE.
He carries off prizes in several national and international piano competitions, (Grand Prix of the the United States 1993” [Detroit], “Città di Ciampino 1988”, “Città di Gargano 1991”, “Città di Matera 1991”, “Città di Roma A.I.D.I. 1992”, “XVIIa Selezione Nazionale Giovani Concertisti 1992”, “Città di Pineto 1994”, “Città di Tortona 1994”), and embarks on a busy career worldwide as concert pianist, achieving great success at every performance.
He is passionately dedicated to teaching music and has amongst his pupils winners of international music competitions. |
